•Gene Dobbs & Nu-Cullers are a top-notch, professional band. Market New Haven chose the Nu-Cullers to open up for Sister Sledge featuring Kathy Sledge for the Music on the Green Concert Series. The energy of the band combined with the vocal stylings of Gene got the crowd up on their feet and dancing. Nu-Cullers played a variety of music and the mix was great. Funk, R&B, Soul & Pop were played at Music on the Green. I highly recommend the Nu-Cullers for any event where you need a top-notch band to get the party started right and keep it going. •Nu Cullers played for my 21st birthday party. It was a swanky event at the St. Regis in New York City and Gene and the Nu Cullers brought the experience, class, talent, and tunes I was hoping for. I booked them very near to the actual event and they were still willing to learn two requests of mine. They were also extremely flexible in terms of what they played--initially, I wanted background music, and towards the end of the event i was hoping for some dance inducing funk, and they happily accommodated. •This was such a fun night, and Nu-Cullers was AWESOME! They played at our wedding, and at one point in the night, we looked around and EVERYONE was on the dance floor (not one person sitting.) They had the youngest and the oldest of our guests all dancing! The song list and sound quality was great. They were loud enough that you could dance, but a perfect volume if you were at a table you didn't have to scream to hear one another. •We booked Nu Cullers site unseen for our wedding after seeing the numerous positive reviews on Gigmasters. We were not disappointed! Nu Cullers came in and rocked our reception. Numerous guests asked us where we found them, and more than a couple used the words "BEST WEDDING BAND EVER". They had my 80 year old granny cutting a rug on the dancefloor! The only reason they did not receive a perfect score is because aside from the few key songs that they agreed to play (first dance, etc), only a couple of our requests made it onto their setlist. •ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! I hired Nu Cullers to perform for a 40th birthday party and they were INCREDIBLE! I had a general idea of what I wanted from a band and Nu Cullers greatly exceeded my expectations on every dimension. To begin with, they are extremely PROFESSIONAL and HELPFUL; they read my event description and were in contact with me well in advance of the party making sure that all details were covered to make my party memorable. I provided a song list in advance that they played during the party. All night long guests kept asking me "Where did I find Nu Cullers? They are jamming!"
